Sergio Lenchig, MD

Dr. Lenchig is an interventional pain management physician trained at the University of Miami. He completed a General Surgery internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center followed by his residency in PM&R at the University of Miami. He then did a one-year fellowship in Spinal Cord Injury followed by another year of fellowship in Pain Medicine in the same institution. Thereafter, Dr. Lenchig worked as a faculty member at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, in the Department of Anesthesia, Division of Pain Medicine while simultaneously completing a research fellowship chronic pain management under the same department.

Dr. Lenchig specializes in back and musculoskeletal pain, a typical facial pain, trigeminal neuralgia, occipital neuralgia, complex regional pain syndrome (RSD), kyphoplasty for vertebral compression fractures, spinal cord stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation, ultrasound guided joint injections, and plasma reach platelet (PRP) injections for tendinitis, bursitis, and arthritis.
